We do not store any of your personal data, resumes, or portfolios on our servers. All information you enter is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This means your data remains on your device and is not accessible by us.
3. No Account Required
You can use Portfolio Builder without creating an account. Since we don't have a backend database for users, there is no signup or login process required.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Web3Forms for our contact page. When you send a message through the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to us via Web3Forms. Please refer to their privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.
5. GitHub Authentication
If you choose to use our "Deploy to GitHub" or "Deploy to Vercel" features, we use GitHub OAuth for authentication. We do not store your GitHub credentials or access tokens on our servers; they are stored securely in your browser's cookies and used solely to facilitate the deployment process through your own GitHub account.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use localStorage to save your resume progress and cookies to manage your GitHub authentication state. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics that identify you personally.
